Our Responsibility
At ALMÁE LONDON, we recognise that the fashion
industry is a major contributor to the climate crisis,
responsible for 8-10% of global emissions, largely due
to fast fashion. To combat this, we operate with a
minimum viable product (MVP) approach, producing
in low quantities to minimise waste and discourage
overconsumption; resulting in a smaller environmental
footprint.
In our efforts to work towards zero-waste, our fabrics
are recycled and re-used for new pieces. Our
manufacturers hold onto excess fabrics that can
continue to be incorporated into new designs. Our
main goal is to keep our fabrics usable and out of
landfills.
We understand as a fashion brand, we can never be
100% sustainable, however our commitment towards
sustainability drives us to continue to improve our
practices. We will consistently strive to lessen our
impact by designing and manufacturing consciously
with the planet in mind and placing transparency at
the forefront for our customers.
CleanHub Partner
We’ve partnered with CleanHub - an organisation on a mission to free our planet from plastic pollution.
Why are we following this path? We are convinced that using plastic comes with responsibility. In many cases, plastic is still the most viable option for packaging.
However, we believe it is also our responsibility to take care of the waste generated by our activities. Through CleanHub we are able to act on that responsibility and invest in resilient waste management solutions across Asia.
With every order placed, 1lb of plastic waste will be collected (equivalent to 25 plastic bottles) preventing it from reaching the ocean or ending up in landfill. The entire process is tracked through CleanHub’s own Track & Trace technology, ensuring certified impact.

designed to endure, ensuring timeless style and
durability. We also focus on perfecting the fit of
every garment to reduce returns, and therefore
reduce waste.
Our Packaging
We use Eco-friendly packaging that can be
recycled or reused. Our poly mailers are
recyclable and made from biodegradable starch.
Our custom ziplock pouches are reusable and
great for storing your swimwear.

to lower our carbon footprint where possible. It's
